inTEC marks ten years of growth and collaboration
inTEC marks ten years of growth, collaboration and customer partnership—from its beginnings in 2016 to a team of more than 200 people across the UK and Ireland.

The inTEC Group is celebrating its tenth anniversary, marking a decade of growth from its beginnings in April 2016 to a nationwide technology group with more than 200 people.
A better way to work with customers
Founders Simon Howitt and Ray Bell established inTEC around a simple belief: organisations should not have to choose between first-class technology expertise and personal customer service. The business was built to combine the reach and capability of a larger provider with the care, accountability and local relationships associated with an independent company.
Ten years later, that principle remains central. inTEC now supports organisations across the UK and Ireland with IT, cloud, cyber security, infrastructure and communications services, while continuing to focus on long-term partnerships rather than one-off transactions.
Growth powered by people
Acquisitions have played an important role in the group’s development. Each new business has added colleagues, expertise, customer relationships and a stronger regional presence. The group now operates from nine locations, bringing together teams with a shared commitment to customer service and professional development.
That people-first approach is visible throughout the organisation. Members of the executive team joined through earlier acquisitions, helping ensure that the experience of integrating and developing successful local businesses continues to inform the group’s direction.
Ten years—and the next chapter
The anniversary provides a moment to recognise the customers, partners and colleagues behind the journey. It also highlights the breadth of the group today: strong vendor relationships, modern workplace and security expertise, established community programmes and a service model designed to give customers one accountable technology partner.
As inTEC looks ahead, its priorities remain consistent: useful innovation, dependable delivery and technology decisions shaped around the organisations and people they need to serve.
